Meet the Pastor
Rev. Kevin B. Galloway
Rev. Kevin B. Galloway is a native of Fordyce, Arkansas. He is a 1994 graduate of Bearden High School, Fordyce, Arkansas. He earned his Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He received a Certificate in Theology from United Theological Seminary, Atlanta, Georgia.
He began his ministry at Enon Baptist Church in November, 1999 in Fordyce, Arkansas. He later moved to Crossett, Arkansas where he served as Associate Pastor at First Missionary Baptist Church for 10 years. During that time, he served as President of the African American Scholarship Association, working to create educational opportunities and support for young people in the community.
After relocating to Baton Rouge in 2010, he became a member of New St. John Missionary Baptist Church in 2014 under the leadership of Rev. Dr. W. Marshall Myles and served as Assistant to Rev. Myles until his retirement on December, 2024.
Rev. Galloway was installed as Pastor of New St. John Baptist Church on February 22, 2026.
He is a praying preacher who brings a word from the Lord to the people of the Lord and introduces Jesus to a hurting world. He is deeply community-minded and committed to doing the will of God in every aspect of his life. He stands firmly on the promises of God, knowing that through faith and prayer, all things are possible.
He is the proud father of four boys and he lives by a “family first” principle, believing that ministry begins at home.
